I am an experienced digital storyteller who can inspire online Gen Z audiences around social justice + identity. On the personal side, I've amassed over 50,000 followers for my content style (irreverent, vulnerable, humorous) and executed collaborations with brands like Spotify, Instagram, and Earthjustice. On the professional side, I've made educational content targeting Gen Z for Impact, Project Unloaded, and other brands. Some work samples:

🍒 posting as myself:

Educational vertical video: I've gone viral for my timely commentary, filmed in an engaging, straight-to-camera style. Here's one I filmed about Usha Vance, caste, and race that has been viewed over 1 million times, and likely landed me on a Secret Service hitlist.

Brand promotion: My supper club, Girls Eat Girls, lives online exclusively on Instagram. GEG's social media strategy and influencer partnerships have resulted in hundreds of RSVPs at monthly supper clubs.

Native content: My comic series, Diary of a Wimpy Mal, about mental health and is designed for Instagram and frequently reshared.

🍒 creating for a brand:

Instagram infographics: I specialize in breaking down complex topics, stories, and cultural moments into digestible, colorful, and shareable graphics that tell a story and inspire a call-to-action. Posts for Impact are scripted by me; posts for Project Unloaded were both scripted & designed by me.

Video storytelling: In addition to quickly riffing off a TikTok trend, love telling stories via longer videos that feel like a FaceTime call with your friend. Some of these I edited and commissioned from teen peer messengers for Project Unloaded, where Snapchat campaigns I co-produced were viewed by over 3 million teens.
